Eating at new and different restaurants, dinners, and cafés are definitely one of the little joys in life. Experiencing new foods, new flavors, and new ideas brings wonderful possibilities to our own cooking. It’s also very interesting to see how each place puts their own unique aesthetic touches to express creativity and emotion in the atmosphere.

We ate at the Wild Fig Tree while staying at Merry Pebbles Resort during our Panorama Route Trip. It was a beautiful sunny day with a slight breeze, so sitting outside was nice and refreshing. We ate a smoked salmon & avocado tramezzini, and a ham & cheese toasty. Both were simple and delicious, hitting the spot right before we continued our journey.

If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing meal with a view of Sabie, this is a worthwhile spot to take a seat. If you are looking for something a little more interesting, the Smokey Train (See Review HERE) just down the street is another fun place to eat with its rail car feature in the front and the interior decorated with with classic memorabilia. Either way, Sabie has you covered for good food 🙂 Enjoy!
